Hi to all on the site.

I'm a teacher by day, woodworker by night. I've been turning for a few years now (off and on between other wood projects). I've been doing baseball bats, tops, bowls, and Christmas ornaments. I've thought about pens for a while, but didn't take the plunge until recently. I've been tinkering with cheap kits/wood. I feel like I'm getting ready to move on to some quality pens.

I've been looking around the site a bit. Some of the pens blow my mind. It's amazing what some people can transform a piece of wood or other material into.

Welcome to IAP. If we keep this up we will soon have more PA turners than Texas turners.

Be forwarned, steer clear of the marooned ragin cajin![:p]

I'm from the Altoona area. A little drive from Allentown. Maybe closer to some parts of western PA
