I've been lurking and learning since my wife bought me a lathe when I accepted a buyout last Nov. I want to thank the group for everything I've learned, just by reading the posts and searching.

I've noticed it's a good idea to show one's work, so I've posted a gallery of the acrylics I've migrated to. Unfortunately, I don't know how to link to it, other than to suggest searching on my username!

My own website is at http://nieonline.com/pens/

I'm sorry, but can anybody tell me how to link to the images I've added to the IAP gallery I created?

Welcome to IAP. I know you are already skilled from looking at your web site. But I don't want to leave you out - in the offering of a link that I recently started offering those new to turning. . .

So, below is a link to a PDF file that gives a general overview of tools, methods, pens and options that might be helpful in making pens. It does not go into detail of the many aspects at all, but just gives a general overview and options. There are a few minor mistakes that will hopefully be corrected in the near future but overall it gives some basic directions.
