I'm glad to find a website for pen turners. I have been turning pens as a hobby for 4 years now along with other turnings and is as addicting as anything I have tried. I think I might have somthing new but not sure. Check it out and tell me what you think.

Welcome from Wichita Falls. Tell us more about the pen, the materials, and what you did to make the top. Check out bubbasville...which meets in in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area of the metroplex: http://www.bubbasville.com
Do a good turn daily!

Welcome, David. Are you the Baker in close to town or out by the golf course?? In either event, we are almost neighbors.

"Interesting" doesn't begin to cover your pen. That is fantastic!!!! The basic concept is not new; but you have carried it to a new level.

Did I count correctly.......18 laminations/inlays or maybe 36???
