I've always wanted to turn pens and other items and having my father move in with us gave me a great opportunity to get him interested and dive in.

He and I are starting our journey with pen turning and we're trying to learn as much as possible. We've made our share of mistakes in the short couple of weeks that we've been at it but it has been a blast.

I look forward to reading quite a few threads on this site and soaking up as much as I can.
