Hi, I was looking up ways of stabilizing wood when I stumbled across an old IAP thread (minwax hardener) which tells about how to make your own wood hardener by adding plexiglass to acetone. That's when I decided to join the IAP community. I'm sure I'm gonna learn a bunch of useful stuff here, and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you as well. Thanks Gary

Welcome to the group! If you have any questions about turning, don't hesitate to ask here. Everyone is very helpful and there is a lot of knowledge.

As far as stabilization is concerned, I use a product called "Cactus Juice". It's available at most wood turning supply stores/sites.
