Greetings from Kansas City - turned a few flat tops and a couple of euros 8 or 10 years ago and want to get back into the hobby. Looks like there are a number of new kits available. I hope that the wearability of the metal componets have improved. I hope to learn how to properly apply the CA finish. My previous pens were fininshed with PPP.

Welcome. I too am an ex scoutmaster, ex unit commissioner, ex district committee member. When my son turned 18 he became an assistant scoutmaster in the troop. He and I both resigned when he joined the Coast Guard. This is what I'm doing with that extra hour a week I got back.
