Hi all;
New member here from the Arizona "Coast".
I had started turning pens about 8 or 9 years ago, and was successful at selling my pieces through various venues. I got pretty bored producing the same old pieces all the time, though, and got off on a couple of tangents: lapidary and fountain pen collecting.
So now I have a *lot* of older pen kits and a TON of cutting material hanging around, and am looking forward to getting back into turning some nice pieces again. Some of my cutting material includes older hard rubber used on some pens of the 20's and 30's and quite a bit of celluloid.
I'd like to combine working gems with creating pens, and I will probably find a way to do that.
It was great finding this forum. Lots of excellent inspiration in the photos!
