Just joined up and was given a warm welcome from Jeff. I have lots of experience in turning pens, that is, if two pens make me an expert. :wink: The two actually were made mostly by my grandson who made pens for his parents' birthdays. I have ten kits to assemble for Christmas presents.
I had occasion to browse through the website and was impressed at the resources available. I have built some fishing rods in the past and found that I could use the thread art for pens!

Welcome from western NY state! If you have already made your second pen then you have doubled your experience from your first pen. You are well on your way to becoming an expert! Two more pens and you will have doubled your experience again!

I really appreciate your warm and sincere welcome from you pen turners. Looking at where you are located, I can see that the craft isn't confined to one region or state.
