New to the group and pen turning

Hello gent! Hope everyone is having a great Monday. I was luck and stumbled apon this group as i was searching the web for pen information. I'm from south eastern Illinois and i started turning pens a at the end of November. My darling wife bought me a few Jack Daniels blanks for Father's Day in 2015 and i never did anything with until this November. Any type of tips or tricks are welcome.

I enjoyed looking at your Pen, if that was your first, then Please keep it and use it as a reference of your progress over the next 12 months or beyond.
A very Interesting Pen, Nice Finish.
You might like to try to make a longer transition from the Blank to the Hardware and have the the final diameter equal to that of the Bush or Hardware.
That will improve the appearance significantly, as well as improve the user comfort.
