HI!

I own and operate a Maker space in Elkhart IN, US
We do all kinds of things here, 3D printing, CNC milling, Electronics, Lasers you name it. Now I am bringing Pen turning (and turning in general ) to the MakerHive.

I have done turning in my youth, woodworking, Cabinetry, and other fun stuff, then shifted gears and went into Electronics. Got my EE and have been doing all kinds of electronics work in the RV field for the past 20 years. Now it is time to get back into my first love - turning.

I just recently purchased a 12 x 15 Shop Fox 3/4HP Lathe and turned my first pens - I'll post pictures in the appropriate forum.

Thanks and I hope to learn much more from the experts!

Search for a local turning group in your area for mentoring, demonstrations, tool and technique talk, et cetera. Local woodworking stores often know of local groups, and of course there is always searching on the Internet.
