Good evening to everyone. I am glad I found this site. It is packed full of information. I am a professional in the oil industry but my real passion is woodworking. I enjoy turning pens-still a novice and making scale models of all things from boats to cars to planes. It is my form of stress relief. I have attached a pictured of some of the pens I have turned. I don't do it for profit but for fun. Gave some to my co-workers as well as my son and daughter-in-law. I look forward to viewing the posts and ideas.

Welcome from Katy, TX. Very nice pens. I'm still working in the oil field too, at least for now.

I've done a scaled model for an intern I mentored this Summer. It's a 1/24 scaled compressor scrubber.

Welcome from Alvin & another oil industry worker. I work for a company in Sugar Land that builds tank gauges & overfill protection systems.
