Hi from WV,
I just joined the group and wanted to introduce myself. My name is Travis and I would say I am more of a wood collector than a pen turner but I love to turn pens as well. I pass my days as an USACE economist and my evenings cutting pen blanks. I love reclaimed woods from bogwood to woods reclaimed from the bottom of rivers. Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Local chapter = Ohio (Columbus). There aren't very many folks from WV on here, although more have been coming out of the woodwork in the last few months.

welcome aboard Travis,

Travis is the person that approached me earlier this week with the WV Bog Oak (7-10k years old) and River Crib Woods. The pics he sent me of the wood are very nice, and I will be ordering some once payday gets here.
