Hi I am from the UP of Michigan, my name is Bob Willing. I have been turning pens since I retired in 2003. This venture has gone from a hobby to a small business since that time. My pen making led me to making bottle stoppers, game call, and S & P mills. I also make gun racks/displays and fishing rod racks and I sell these items at gun shows and from my home. I guess my customers and friends are the ones that are responsible for the expansion of my hobby and never ending "money pit" invested in tools I think I need and sometimes don't. I started with a Mercury Nova and am now using a General International 14" lathe. Looking forward to viewing and exchanging ideas with all of you turners. I have been a member of "wood working talk forum since 2008.
