Hi I'm Chris. I've been working in wood a little since I was a kid but I've started taking it seriously over the past couple years. I also started school cabinet making and millwork and I've got one more semester.

My brother got me a lathe about six months ago, a shop fox 1704, and I fell in love right away. I've mostly made pens and tops but I have turned a couple of small bowls. Still working on getting a 4 jaw chuck.

I'm here to learn and share and improve. I feel like I can make a decent pen now but I want to make sure I'm always improving. From the looks of things here I have a lot to learn.
