Welcome! What an exciting thing to start. Almost everyone here remembers the joy of starting out.
Be careful not to spend all of your money in this phase, soon you will discover more tools and supplies you will need or want. I still have blanks I bought when I first started (in 2006) they are not the quality I use now, so I give them away to other turners.
