Hello all,
I'm new to the pen/pencil making world, So I will be using this site a lot to learn more. I'm a very avid woodworker. I have been making wood projects for about 30 years on and off. Mostly Military Shadow boxes, Military Coin Holders, Special Projects, and furniture for the home. I just recently got my hands on a Nova Comet II Lathe and starting to turn Bowls and what not. I'm in the U.S.Navy and stationed Overseas in Japan and I had a lot of left over branches from a Sakura Tree that fell down due to high winds. I used the main part of the tree for Military Coin holders and didn't know what to do with the rest, so instead of throwing the branches out I made Pen/Pencil blanks. Since I have a lathe why not make some Pens. I hope to provide some help and receive help from you all.
