I'm thinking this is an addiction. I turned my first pen in September at the Loveland, CO turning symposium. I think I've already spent $1000 on "stuff", and that doesn't include a lathe (which I already had). I always wondered why they dedicated SO MUCH space at Woodcraft for penturners. Now I know. Glad to have found this site. You guys have provided an unbelievable amount of information and knowledge. I hope to be able to contribute.

Hi Jim, Welcome to your addiction. You must have been running out of things to spend your wife's money on. rotflmao
