Hi from Australia - a noob pen turner

Hey guys,

43 year old guy from the land of oz and i just started to turn pens as a new hobby. I guess ive started back to front.. ie ive made some resin blanks and and some poly clay. Like the subject says, im very new at this and im here to learn more from you guys and share the stuff ive done

Here are my first 4 pens i have made (all polymer clay) and now that my lathe is broken, im trying to save some money for that so im out of commission until then.

But i do feel that making blanks before i even made a pen is backwards. would have thought start by buying blanks and then getting sick of that and making your own lol

But for me, 90% of the fun is creating the blank

im looking into tools for that, but what i do is kind of massage the seam.. you break the line and move it if that makes sense
