Short story - Came across a Youtube video of someone turning a pen. It was so intriguing that I scoured the internet / youtube to learn as much as I could. 4 days later I attended an inexpensive Pen Turning Workshop where I was the only student. The instructor was terrific and it was worth twice what he charged! I enjoyed it so much that I drove from Cobleskill NY to WoodCraft in Springfield MA that same day to purchase what I needed to turn a pen THAT NIGHT! (except for the Harbor Freight Lathe, that was on the trip back home)

Looking forward to doing this for a long time!
