Hello from Texas

Hello, I am Nathan from Amarillo, Texas. Brand new to pen turning; although, I have wanted to try for several years now. My wife just got me a lathe for Christmas and am in the process of setting everything up and looking at as many "how to" info that I can.

A little about me: Married for 28 yrs to a beautiful and forgiving wife, one daughter, one son (gets out of USMC January 29, 2017) I was a helo mech in USMC for 8 years, carpenter (from new construction, remodel, cabinet building etc.) Pastor for the last 22 years (hung up my nail pouch about 5 years ago and now pastor full time).
