Default Hello from Oman

Well hi everybody it is a great pleasure to be here. My name is John i am from Scotland but live and work in the Middle East.
I have only recently started pen turning and am enjoying it greatly. Living in the ME i ship all my stuff in but it is worth it all when i get a nice pen.

Looking forward to learning from you all.

Welcome John. I too started my pen turning when I was living overseas (Japan) from the USA. Pick up all the wood that you can while there. I picked up quite a bit of wood when in Japan (much of it from east Asia) that is hard to get back here in the USA. Probably the same for you when you return to Scotland.
