New to this site and looking forward to gaining a lot of knowledge from those much more experienced. My interest in pen turning was re-ignited a few years ago when my grandson (age 8) wanted to make a pen for his mother for Christmas. With A LOT OF CAUTION, I guided him through the steps. HE WAS HOOKED! Now at age 11, he completely turns his own pens and has become quite an entrepreneur. Time at a lathe sure beats time playing video games!
