Hi,just joined ,although i dont have a lathe as yet,did hear that father christmas might be bringing one:laugh:in fact he better bring one ,have'nt use a lathe since leaving school, a few years back:rolleyes:so fingers crossed.cheers

I'm pretty new here myself. One thing I have learned here, is that this forum is one of the most friendliest places to be. Absolutely awesome amounts of information and people who don't mind sharing their knowledge! And just as a beginner may feel inadequate and frustrated, there always seems to be someone who is willing to share their mistakes, (and with humor I might add). Just an all around great place to be!
Do you have other hobbies in wood to keep you busy until you aquire that lathe?
