Hello from new pen turner from Avondale Arizona

Fellow pen turners,

Very happy to have found this site. Many thanks to Richard Altenhofen for steering me in the right direction. I am an experienced woodworker but new to pen turning. Turned my first pen about six months ago and now I'm hooked. Have a garage/shop and have turned about 30 pens so far. I turn for fun and to give away to friends and family.

I am a retired Marine Corps officer from a Marine Corps family. Picture from left to right is my older brother Richard, older sister Fran, Me, my wife Debra, and my younger brother Daniel. Now looking forward to getting some Dress Blue pen blanks from NV Woodwerks-Custom Alumilite turning blanks, and resin casting education for everyone.
