Hello all. A new turner here as well. I also got a lathe for Christmas and have been learning and making a few pens since. It appears this hobby is worse than fly tying in terms of catalogs, web sites and always needing (OK wanting) the next new gadget/tool/material.
Retired USAF fighter pilot (A-10s, Harriers as an RAF Exchange Officer, and F-117s). Currently a defense contractor.
