Hello everyone. I am very new to this pen turning stuff and am very excited to learn as much as I can about it. In the last month, I have purchased a midi lathe, drill press, band saw and various tools and equipment to get me going. So far, I've been doing some bolt action pens as they are very popular out here with the military guys and gals.
I am active duty Navy and currently the Harbor Operations Officer for Marine Corps Base Hawaii. 1.5 years into a three year tour and I can't wait to bring this new hobby back to the mainland.
