Hi everybody !

I want first send better wishes to all of you for this new year.
I wish you to have great and nice projects !

I'm a real wood turner beginner. I've just bought a Record Power DML 320, ... it will arrive soon at home ...

I'm also a calligrapher since soe years, so I want to be able to turn my penholder (for using nibs).

I'm searching for DIY lathe stand (bench) to put my new lathe on.:knife: I only can build it with wood, because I cannot weld metal ...

Can anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance !!

Philippe

Welcome from western New York State, USA. I built a bench for my Jet 1014 mini lathe when I bought it 8 years ago. I didn't use any plans or anything. It is made from 2x4's. You can see it in the center of the pic. Nothing fancy.
Thanks !
If I can see exactly, just crewed pine boards ?
It looks like more easier to built than some I have seen on oogle !

Yeah, my friend, that's what I've thought to see ...
(and many excuses for my bad English ... ;) )

What do you think about "Kreg mini hole-pocket jig" ??
