I am just starting out and looking to buy my first lathe. A friend is showing me the ropes on using a wood lathe. Been into scroll saw and fretwork for about a year now. Just finished up my first custom furniture attempt at a bench, turned out nice. Now I am learning the wood lathe.

Hope to learn more from reading the many posts on here..
