Welcome! This is a dangerous place for ideas... They'll get ya with the "oh that's not a mistake, that's an opportunity for segmenting" followed by "oh yea, casting is easy, just go get yourself a pot, it's not that expensive" Next thing you know you've got pressure pots, cutting jigs, bottles of pigments and powders... and you're having so much fun you don't care what ya just spent :biggrin:

If you haven't already check out the local AAW Chapter - Front Range Woodturners. They meet the first Tuesday of the month, yeah last night, at the Denver Rockler. I know they have some members that turn a pen or two...
