We live in a small [in winter] community in central Alabama named, "Slapout" on beautiful Lake Jordan. We've lived here over 30+ years because our jobs were here. When my husband and I retired [husband Wayne from the Air Force; me: Alabama Air National Guard], we stayed here because it's 'home'!
I been turning wood on my lathe for about 25 years but have never turned pens! I have just received all my 'pen turning tools & supplies' and have just poured resin pen blanks today. Will start turning pens tomorrow [after my housework is done, of course!] and will post my turned pens soon.
Looking forward to all the info here to aid me on my pen-turning journey. Love 'regular' wood turning and know pen turning will bring me just as much joy.
