Hi y'all, got my first lathe last year. Now I'm thinking about a swamp cooler just so I can turn in the garage through the Phoenix summer.

After a couple kit pens, I'm already looking forward to trying a kitless!

Don't know if there is a great difference in weather, but when I lived in west Texas I tried a swamp cooler and it rusted everything that was not painted or covered in wax or oil.

I live in northern AZ and use a swamp cooler haven't had any trouble with rust give it a try and keep a watch on things. Just my 2 cents
