Hi All,

Just wanted to send a short message to say hello to the group here, and to say thank you for letting me be part of your community.

I recently started to turn pens, and I have been able to get some great results with the help of others, and forums like these.

I love woodworking, and as you can see from my website, I love to build and design guitars.

I have also build my own CNC router, which I use for my guitars, and woodworking projects. One of my aspirations, is to add a forth axis, and use it to cut pens with it!

Again, looking forward to interacting with many of you, and sharing ideas!

Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to seeing some of your work!

You ought to look into joining one of your local IAP chapters too.. (it's free!)

Welcome Spiro. Yep, add a "c" axis and away you go, turning pens. Yes there are some of us who work, repair and program CNC equipment. Give me a shout sometime and we can talk about it.

Welcome and put that cnc to use on some pens! Your experience with fine tolerances will show up quickly on a finished pen for sure.

Enjoy this line of work and post some picts too!
