Just started turning in May. Picked up everything I needed to start turning from someone that had upgraded and moved on to a select market of high end pens and styles. Got lots of kits and blanks, so have been able to learn try quite a bit. Have turned a couple of dozen, some good, some not so good and a few that I really like.
Am donating a couple to a fundraiser silent auction soon and have someone that wants a group made as gifts for his production team. That one will most likely be a barter deal. Might get to post some details on that later if things work out the way I hope.
Have learned a lot reading things here and hopefully have been able to skip over some mistakes because of the great folks here sharing their knowledge.
