Hello all. I am just starting my adventures with tons of research and learning before jumping in. I have just started to order various tools and safety gear and plan on starting with the Jet 1221 VS.

My goal is to find a nice outlet for creating one of a kind pieces. Mainly pens and bottle stoppers to start.

I am very happy with all the great info that can be found on this forum.

Thanks. I was looking at the 1015vs from Jet, but my uncle who is an avid woodworker and turner let me know that for a little more $$, the 1221 would do sooo much more.
