Hello everyone! My name is Mike. I am a recent transplant from Memphis, TN here to Jacksonville, FL. For our move, I had to sell all my woodworking equipment which was difficult for me. Well....the cool part is, now I am rebuilding with NEW equipment! I haven't found many used pieces yet so, slowly building from scratch. However, my father-in-law gave me his JWL-1236 lathe. I had never tried turning but seeing some of these pens are amazing. I have tried the slim lines but seem to be doing much better job with pens like the Wall street. I will be going slowly and hopefully will get more patience with my finishing techniques.
