First, thank you Jeff for the approval! I've been a creeper (not in a bad way) on the forums for about a year now while learning how to turn and decided it was time to join.
My name is Mike. I live in Lethbridge, a city of close to 100,000 in Southern Alberta. I've been turning pens now for just under a year. I did some wood turning in High School (which was over 20 years ago) and purchased a lathe to help with my wood ring finishing. Since the lathe was sitting for days without use, and I was bored, I decided to see what else I could use the lathe for and am now 100% addicted to pen turning!
I hope to make some new friends in the group, learn from the masters and help out the newbies!
As soon as I figure how I'll upload some images of my work!
