Just to say g'day from Downunder.

I am a new pen turner, currently working on pen #4.

Having lurked here as a visitor I thought it was time I joined in the fun properly.

I live close to Bendigo - Victoria, in the heart of Box-Ironbark forest country, on a 25 acre property.

Now retired I enjoy working in my shed doing all sorts of wood work, including pen turning.

On of my interests is gathering timber and cutting blanks, it is always exciting to see what treasures the latest log holds.

Thanks all for the welcome, much appreciated!

Ronnie, unlike in your part of the world, we speak English in Oz, we buy things from a shop, I work in my shed:D

I am actually about to send a pen to Kansas City as part of a pen swap, so the world is definitely getting smaller all the time.
