Been lurking around the site for a while. Decided to go ahead and join so I can get the full benenfits of the site. Great site with LOTS of information! Glad to be aboard.

Started turning pens a few months back. Never turned anything else before. Have had a lot of fun so far. Finally progressing up to some more expensive kits. Going to give a few away as Chrismas gifts. Wish me luck!!

Just remember, slimlines and Euros are just gateway pen kits. Before long you will be buying Jr. Gents and Barons. Not long after that you will need Emperors and Lotus pen kits to feed your habit. And if thats not bad enough, you will need exotic woods, creative castings and all manner of tools to satisfy the itch.

On the other hand, there are few addictions that produce nice Christmas or Anniversary gifts. Have fun!
