Feb 23rd Meeting

OK, weather is gonna be crazy Saturday. So we made a new date. Feb. 23rd 2pm est Woodcraft in Indy

We are planning on doing 2 demos. 1 is a very easy CA finish on wood. The other will be dying maple blanks with Food Coloring and Transtint.

Bring some pens to show off.

I haven't actually decided yet. Both are in play, possibly neither due to my mother's passing. . Some logistics will need to be considered, but both will be great events.

I'd love to, but this Saturday we're headed to Grandson's B-day party (2 hours away), next Saturday is the Chicagoland meeting (1.5 hours away), so i'll lose most of those days. Indy is right at 3 hours to Woodcraft...so that would be another Saturday lost. This working 5 days a week has got to stop, it's cutting into my ability to do stuff on the weekends!!

If we lose Chicagoland on the 16th to weather, i'll look at heading to Indy on the 23rd. Living in the lake effect snow belt--we could get drilled here and have virtually none 10 miles away.

Some times google maps takes you in the wrong direction, If you are coming from the north get off at I-69 at 98th street and turn left, at the first light turn right and go to 86th street and turn right again. At the end of the street go right and it will be on your right facing the interstate.
From the south, get off I-69 at 82nd st and turn left, go to Hague rd and turn left, go up to 86th st and turn left and at the end of the street go Right and it will be on your right.

I fully agree, but with more emotion than Chuck!! Still not 100% sure we'll make the trip down (about 3 hours each way)--but really want to.

It's February in Indiana. Rain is a good thing because it could be snow instead. I'll be there.
I would also be interested in some kits so bring whatever you wish to get rid of. Looking forward to seeing whoever is able to make it.
