Well it looks like the fall meeting is coming together
I've been advised the Next meeting will be on October 5 th same time as usual with a new Location ..
The fall theme will be
"Turning on a Dime". It will provide information, on ways to make making pens budget friendly.
any input you have is appreciated.. anyone have a new member is encouraged to bring them along and notify us so we can know who is attending that is new ..
Know that your officers are working hard at organizing demo's, vendors, and such for this upcoming meeting. Anyone wanting to help out please contact me directly and I'll put you in touch with the appropriate party.
We were unable to lock in our primary host location. This was going to be a special treat for y'all, however we will reveal this 'treat' , announce the spring meeting date and start an agenda conversation at the meeting on Oct 5th.
The location has been booked for the Oct 5th meeting at
Calvary Baptist Church

This is very close to the interstate, easy to find, and just east of Indpls.
Please bring any homemade jigs, casting secrets/ forms that you use. This meeting is all about the sharing of knowledge and shop secrets to save a buck.
Turning on a dime should be especially interesting to those new turners and those wanting to "jump in".
So spread the word and bring a friend. If you are new to Pen Turning Come on down and join the fun and education Love to have you as a member
