I finished this form the other day and was trying to make the finish stand out. Instead of using the wipe on poly as I used on several other pieces, I went down and bought a Paasche VL airbrush and sprayed QUALALACQ gloss on it. I wet sanded and buffed lightly with white diamond then applied Ren wax. WOW! I like this stuff. My wife was amazed at the appearance. So was I.

Thanks Dave for telling us about this stuff.

Very nice Larry. You guys are leaving me in the dust.

Ok, woodchips.

Both actually. I used Dave's Qualalacq gloss lacquer on it, wet sanded, and lightly buffed. It came out real nice. I bought a Paasche VL airbrush to apply it with. Makes a lot of difference. I like it.

Unfortunately, the pictures here don't show the glaring shine it has. It looks like glass.

I am working on two more but am having some difficulty due to the weather and (mostly) my excitement to see it done. I'll keep on working it.
