I got a call from someone today about a large bristle cone pine log he wants to sell. If anyone is interested, please let me know. He said to make an offer. I'm not sure what it might be worth. The log is over a thousand years old.

If I was closer and could pick up, $100 would be all I would be offering, there is not much solid wood in that and unless you can get a certificate of authenticity, a solid pen blank with clean wood would worth about $3 to $5 to those that don't run away when someone mention Pine wood.

Most of the wood would be more suitable for resin casting that solid blanks but again, anything "Pine" is never easy to sell...!

That's my thoughts...!

Good luck,

Cheers

That thing looks like an alien spaceship. In my opinion it would look best as a focal point in someone's back yard. But I don't have a use for it. Sorry
