I think the last date under consideration was Sunday, September 11. I had it on my calendar for the second Sunday in August and almost showed up at Greg's a month early.
I have done a couple of eggs. They turned out ok, just not consistent shape. I guess making the template for the curves is worth the time.
One other thing, my in-laws donated a prize for the "egg contest". They used to raise ostriches and gave me an egg, empty of course, for the winner. They are pretty cool, almost like ceramic or porcelin.
