i've heard great things about the bash but
after reading posts over that past few months, the term "contest" scares the:bulgy-eyes: out of me, without starting world war____, is it safe to get involved in this?

Absolutely not. It's really dangerous. And whatever you do, don't do the daily trivia.

TRANSLATION: It will increase my chances of winning.

Truly, it's a lot of fun. The worst thing that can happen is that you win a prize of two, and learn something along the way.

The 2012 "Best Of" was enough for me. I'm not going through that again. I'll be taking a pass on any more forum contests.

Ed

All I can say is that during the time I have been around here I don't know of anybody who has gotten angry over Birthday Bash activities. The "Best Of" contest is still relatively new and was subject to a lot of outside influences. Judging by the feedback I receive at the end of every Birthday Bash they just keep getting better (as will the "Best of" contest)

It means a lot of work by a handful of people over the next 3 months. I'd like to say up front,Thank You to the volunteers that make this happen.
