As always great event, hosted by several people. I don't like to critique in public, but here goes.

I actually sent a PM to red about people needing to enter a contest to go on the losers train (other than daily trivia).

Maybe a few less contests, very few had more than 10 enter. Maybe make them a little less specific. Look at "pretty wood" that and Library article were the 2 biggest, but the Turn a Pen start to finish on Feb 4th, had 5 people. We could have a casting one year and the following year trade it out with the Poly clay.

I enjoyed it, i think we could maybe change up a few of the contests, I do think the "Difficult to write with" has played out.
Maybe we can rotate a novelty pen contest in and out each year, Ugly, Difficult, Weird Blank, etc.
As far as the loser's train, I think it should be a consolation drawing for only losers, just answer a trivia or puzzle question and pow your a loser.

It was my first time paying attention to the contests this year. I tried to answer the mystery question contest, but I got skunked.
I still came out ahead, due to the generosity on the membership in this community.
I received a great box of blanks as a consolation prize.
I would like to see a category of "Happy Accidents", where you post a pen that was meant to be something else, but you saved from the scrap bin & made something usable out of it anyway.

Something like a blow out, or a split blank, and you filled it in with copper shavings or something like that.

That's my 2 cents anyway.
