Hey, looks like I'm first!
My PITH pen from Mike8850:

Spalted apple on a Carbara. Beautiful pen!

Also got some nice blanks, including a crosscut walnut that I can't wait to turn... thanks, Mike!

Sorry for the mediocre pic, but the kitten busted one of my photo tent bulbs, so I waited for some natural outdoor light. However, being impatient, I didn't wait for full sunlight.

SkipRat does it again

Received my pen from SkipRat yesterday. What a beauty. The scallops (36 I believe) are perfectly aligned and even. The finish on the body is flawless, not a scratch or dull spot to be found. Anything that may show in the pictures is due to my poor photographic skills and not the pen maker.

I was honored when Steven was picked to provide my pen. I have followed his work since I first saw it, and he has honored that faith beyond doubt.

Black acrylic (?) with brass scallops. A thing of beauty.

Thanks Steven

Jake

My PITH Pen to redbulldog

Red informed me he did not have camera to photograph his pen, so I took these before I sent the pen to him.
The pen is spalted hackberry for a tree in my back yard that we took down last year. It was one of the first trees my FIL planted on my property when we moved here in 1981. I first pre4ssure cast the blank in a blue/green Pearlex colllored Alumilite. Then I tripple dyed/stabilized in Cactus Juice, (yellow/red/green). The pen is a Jr Gent1.

My PITH from RetiredJake

Received my package today from RetiredJake and was amazed!

A custom pen box of Mesquite in the style from the Timberbits videos. The grain design on the wood is really great!

Nestled inside the box is a TiGold Jr Gent I made with Brown Mallee Burl and a custom finial. Fit and Finish are perfect and really show off all of the grain swirls and eyes.

Thanks Jake!

Dave

Jonathan made a fantastic pen, as you saw from his pictures. I figured I would go ahead and post the picture I took using the 104 degree sun we have today as my lighting. Thanks for the awesome pen! My wife is already trying to take it!

Piker...we hit 113 yesterday and are heading for 115 today. Beautiful pen!

This beautifully finished copper cigar has Buckeye Burl with a cool deep copper PR flowing through it.

This is the PITH I sent to traderdon55. He said I would have to post because he doesn't do pictures.

It's a Triton Ballpoint with Maple Burl "Worthless Wood" from Jeff Powell. It, and a few others like it, was returned to Exotic Blanks as being to hard to turn. I got lucky and saw Ed's post on FB and took all 4 together with the Triton BP kits.

Hope he likes it as much as I like the pens I've gotten from other IAP members.

Thanks so much to Joe S. for the fountain pen - my first kitless. Incredibly light weight, with a friction fit cap. Made from a "genesis" blank from Woodturningz. Can't wait to ink it up and give it a go!

And some nice packing material added to the box only sweetened the deal!

Thanks Joe!

The pictures do not do this pen justice. I have been in several pith's and recieved several extraordinary pens and this one is as nice as any one in my collection. What is not in the pictures is the wonderful packing material. Rob put my pen in a leather case and somehow got a bakers dozen of super blanks in the box with it. It took some careful packing to get it all in the box. THANKS Rob.

Brown Mallee Burl Hex Cut. Just noticed on this forum he does not do pictures. So from me.

Kind regards Peter.

I post pictures. But usually as attachments not in the gallery maybe that's where you see that.

It's taking it's time getting here from down there. Now I really can't wait! Looks pretty sweet. I'm going to have questions about how you did it. I have the PSI offset chuck that you could do a similar multi-sided as well as crankshaft looking things but haven't gotten up the nerve to try it yet.

My PITH from theidlemind

I received my PITH today and am awed. The pen is an Executive Pen with a "Space Junk Steampunk" blank. I also received a steampunk blank, a carbon fiber blank, and several holly and maple blanks. The pen is beautiful and the blanks will provide much fun. I apologize now for the picture, my wife loaned the camera memory card to her sister but I didn't want to delay posting so took a photo with my phone.

Thanks much for the pen and blanks, both are very appreciated.

I just got my wonderful pen from Emery.

The pen is a gun metal Zen. The segments are maple, spalted maple, purple heart, and cherry. The caps are aluminum flashing with walnut.

He also filled the box with some camphor and spalted maple and some mesquite that came from some of his family's land and a spalted cherry that came from his yard when he lived in Texas.

Thanks Emery. Busy day so I plan on taking better pics tomorrow if I get home early enough.

This is the PITH pen that I sent Ernie, AKA Eborraga. He told me that he received it and asked if I would post pictures. I only shot a couple of them as I was about to leave on vacation when I was mailing it, so here they are!

The wood is Texas Ebony (since I'm from TX) and the segment is a red and black acrylic (for Ernie's college affiliations!). The aluminum is from another Texas icon, Dublin Dr. Pepper. Ernie, I hope you enjoy your pen and the extras that came with it...those are some local woods and some of my favorites to turn.

Recieved my wonderful PITH pen from 3Peake "Martin" He must have done his homework and knew that my weakness in life is Cebloplast. These pictures do not do the wonderful segmenting work Martin did any justice. But those that have photographed Ceblo knows..its not easy. Thank you very much Martin for a treasure that I will have in my collection forever. Thank you for the wonderful pen blanks you sent as well, I can wait to get them on the lathe.

Got a parcel to pick up tomorrow morning with customs charge so I assume it's my pith pen as I haven't ordered anything for once........can't wait as there is some stunning pens here.
Jason you are more than welcome and it was just luck that I had some of that cebloplast that I was trying at the time. Put it on a rhodium jr gent for you, and stuck in some sweet chestnut and jarrah burl for you. Glad you like the pen it was a pleasure to make.

PITH to OLDMAN5050

David received his pen from me last week. I took a couple of quick pics before I put it into the mail. The pen is a 12mm triple-start custom design using a Bock nib and a Tn-gold clip scavenged from a Sierra pen. The material is an Italian resin.

My historic PITH from Lee!

From my swap partner Lee...
I included pic's of the history of the wood and blanks he sent...incredible!! This is my first swap pen with a documented history. To surmise, end segments came from 3500 y/o cypress as told in "The Darkwater History". The body came from the afore mentioned story.
This one will be place in a frame with the story Lee was kind enough to send with the pen. Thanks you sir...this is a first for me!!

So that's the same pen in all the photos, and it changes color when the temperature changes? :bulgy-eyes:
