Got the lathe fired up this weekend and me and the partner have been talking.

Yep details exchanged here. Now I just have to figure out what happened to my lathe to make the centers out of line in the vertical axis. Had to have been something in the last 2 weeks or so because I checked it when I made my last pen and all was good but when I went to turn one this weekend I noticed a slight wobble took everything off and put my centers together and now there is a 1/16 of an inch difference (live center tail stock sits 1/16 below dead center head stock).

Pen In The Hat, you swap pens and blanks with other people. The details vary on each swap too, sometimes there is a theme. I believe the next one will be in Augest if this once-a-month deal keeps up. It's fun!
