Default CUT-OFFS IN FLAT RATE BOXES

HI FRIENDS,

I have flatrate boxes full of cut-offs, slabs and chunks, as well as center band blanks and thin Celtic knot materials, from dozens of species of exotics. There are also medium curly maple, shorties and 2nds of many species of pen blanks. Medium flatrate boxes are $20.00 and large FRBs are $30.00. That includes shipping.

I am also selling my professionally dye and stabilized (by River Ridge) curly maple in black, blue, green and purple, as well as slimline sized and 3/4" blanks of wine colored, stabilized curly hickory. Each blank is $4.00, except for the slimline hickory, which is $2.75 and the 3/4" hickory, which is $3.75.

Many of you know me from years of participation at IAP, but I am limited in the size of orders I can now take, for personally cut blanks (severe arthritis in both thumbs and a bad back). That said, I can still cut a few blanks per order, if there's something else that you want.

I ship in flatrate packages and accept paypal and checks. Final retirement looms around the corner, but who knows. I may never completely retire. I'm still only 51. I got a new laptop, so I can spend more time on the computer. I was severely limited over the last half year, on sitting time.

Please post any requests here.
Thanks,
Your long time friend,
BigRob

PS To those of you who placed so many orders in January, thank you so much. It enabled me to visit my brother in California, who's diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

Syniper,
Thanks for the info. My Dr. told me that there is no joint replacement. I've changed my Dr. since then. I'll check into it with my new one. I can't imagine living the rest of my life with this ailment, as a woodworker. It hurts to turn and to just shake hands too.
Rob

Hi Rob.
I'd be interested in a medium size box of the mixed stuff in the first paragraph.
If you'll ship to Canada let me know what the added cost is.
Thanks
Pat

FP,
I'm sorry that I missed your post. I watch my e-mail for notifications and missed yours. I haven't shipped a medium box to Canada in years, as it's usually really expensive. These boxes are a good deal for locals, but I'm afraid that you won't get your money's worth, with thirty dollar shipping. I'll look into it for you though.
Rob

I'll PM you, when I get the info/cost

Pat,
I was close. It's $28 US for the medium box. That would be a total of $37.00. If that's what you want, let me know.
Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob,
Do you have anything in 1 1/2 or larger stock x 12" (or bottle stopper length is ok too)
Possibly any of these ....
New Guinea Rosewood, Monkey Pod, Honduran Rosewood, Padauk, Purpleheart ?

Hi.
I'm still pretty new at this but a large box of goodies sounds good. Can you load up a large box with a variety of turning stuff. I just want interesting material to work with.

Thanks
Jorge
