Craig:

Good luck with your new venture. Hope you get lots of sales.

I have a customer who wants me to make her custom knife and cake server handles for her wedding day. Do you have, or know hwere to get, cake knives that I can put a custom handle on, and ditto on the cake server. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thx

Roger

Looking good to me.

Can you please advise what size is the bottle opening box kit. I'm thinking of ordering a few and they will probably need a medium box, so trying to work out how many I can fit in the box, then do a group buy from this end.

Cheers

hi roger i will have a few sample wedding set pieces in this week. these will be shanks which will require a hole to be drilled in the handle (not like a pair of matched knife scales)

Dai Sensei are you talking about this item (link) ? if yes the stitched cases measure 2"x6"x5-1/2" so 3 pieces fit in a med usps box. I can get you an exact price if you PM me the qty you are thinking.

take a peak at pg 4 in this pdf in the library http://content.penturners.org/librar...her_blanks.pdf

instead of using the lathe to hold the dowel which slips inside and supports the brass tube when you tie the feathers you simply work on your kitchen table with this feather helper unit and insert an aligator clip in each side of the brass tube and glue your feathers. does that make sense?

check out this pic and notice you remove the magnify glass which you can hold in your hand to use

fyi you can also get these at HF i offer them so you can easily add them to a larger order you place with me.
