Default Blanks for Pens for the Troops

I can provide 20 -22 blanks in a small flat rate box for $6.00 to those who
are going to make pens for the troops (shipping included within the CONUS).
Blanks will be roughly 3/4" X 3/4" X 5-1/8".
These boxes will be composed of one or more of the following timbers:
black walnut, black cherry, maple, oak, heart pine, sapelle, cypress and others
depending on what I'm milling at the time.
If you decide to contribute to ServicePens
ServicePens: Pens For Servicemen
I will be grateful although any turner contributing to a Pens for the Troops project is welcome to partake of this offer.

Gary,
I would be interested in a box for Pens for Troops. I am putting some pens together right now to go to you. Thank you for your offer. I was promised some other materials in July but they have not sent anything yet so I am behind on my goal of at least 500 pens by the end of the year. I am offering free turning classes to the young men in my LDS Stake, and any of the scouts that would be interested in learning to make pens and then have them make an extra pen or two for our cause. I donate my time and what materials that I have to the scouts and young men to help them out, my SS check does not go as far as it used to so I am trying to get other penturners in my area to join in. I am sorry for the long explanation but I felt that my motives were questioned by a very new member of the forum as he felt that I made a personal gain from this endeavor, which being a 8 yr Army veteran I would never do that. Thank you.

Mike

Mike, I know your actions match your words by what you've done in the past.
I'm happy to supply you.
Thanks.

David,
I'm planning to deliver these at the 2012 conference in June so there's lots of time.
IF I get thousands of pens, I may make two deliveries.
That would be real nice and surprising.
Thank you.
